Getting off of the election news for a bit. Some researchers at MIT have taken cell phone data statistics and overlaid usage graphs on city maps giving a picture of where usage was concentrated and in what geographic areas.

Definitely interesting usage of representing information. The example given in the artical is for Graz, Austria (image to the right).
